The Austrian Excellent Brains Postdoc Program is a flagship initiative designed to attract and empower outstanding postdoctoral researchers from around the world. Anchored within the Cluster of Excellence (CoE) – “Neuronal Circuits in Health and Disease”, the program unites the scientific strengths and infrastructures of Austria’s leading research institutions– Medical University of Vienna (MUV), Medical University of Innsbruck (MUI), University of Vienna (UNIVIE), Institute of Science and Technology Austria (ISTA), and IMBA—to offer an unparalleled research environment.

This program provides postdocs not only with positions in world-class individual labs but also with access to the collective expertise, infrastructure, and training opportunities across all partner institutions.
