PhD students of the Excellent Brains PhD Program should follow the curriculum defined by their home Doctoral School.

Students who wish to take courses outside their Doctoral School should first consult their PhD Program Coordinator to confirm credit recognition. Registration for external courses must be completed through the official website of the respective Doctoral School.

Training Activities Offered by the Excellent Brains PhD Program

A list of training and networking activities organized directly by the Excellent Brains PhD Program is provided below.

3. Cluster of Excellence Annual Retreat
4. Workshops on Transferable Skills and Career Development

Regular participation in these activities is expected. Students who wish to receive course credits for attending these events should request a certificate of attendance from the Excellent Brains Training Unit Coordinator, which will be recognized by their home Doctoral School.

Courses Offered by Partner Institutions

Registration to courses outside your PhD Program is possible provided the course is open for external participants. You can have these courses recognised at your home PhD School by applying for co-registration. Don’t forget to register for courses after your application has been approved.
Before applying for co-registration, please contact either the coordinator of the respective Doctoral School or the Training Unit Coordinator of the Excellent Brains PhD Program for guidance.
